Good fortune would make even the best players play worse. When a player gets fluky he'll slowly start to loosen up. If you are luckier on the table, take a break and ask yourself if this is the right way to play the game. Luck is not there always, so you need to assess your play and get back to the basics. Skilled play will surely win in the long run.

Normally a sound bankroll helps reduce the influence of luck - or the lack thereof - to a minimum. When you're playing very well, you seem to take more bad beats because the horrible players are drawing out on you a lot. A large bankroll in proportion to your current game, won't trouble you as much.

Do carry as much money as you can for the game you choose to play. This helps us to discount the bad beats we take every day.
